Canning sunshine!

FFF Photo a Day - Day 137


Anticipating a dreary, cold day we harvested dandelions yesterday before the rain began.

Today we turned them into dandelion jam! Can't wait to try some!

    I've never heard of dandelion jam! What do you plan on eating it with/on??

      So far we've tried it on the traditional things you put jam on... toast, buns, etc. Got a thumbs up from my number one son!

      Tastes a bit like a cross between honey and marmalade (without the peel)!
